Blockchain technology is in the same moment as the Internet was in 1994 today. If you are trying to figure out where this disruptive technology might fit into your organization, you have come to the right place. In this course, we unpack the foundations of what Blockchain is, how it works, and what industries it will disrupt. We look at Blockchain through the three lenses of Economics, Technology and Business and help you determine whether Blockchain Technology is right for your organization. The first generation of the digital revolution brought us the Internet of information. The second generation –powered by blockchain technology –is bringing us the Internet of Value: which has the potential of reconfiguring all human activity as pervasively as the Internet continues to do today. We will also explore how Blockchain is transforming business models and operational processes from asset tracking, claims, record-keeping, payments and settlements and many others. In addition, we will link these applications and their impact to the various Enterprise use cases and applications.
