Course Overview
CompTIA Network+ is a global certification that validates the baseline skills necessary to establish, maintain, troubleshoot and secure networks in any environment, preparing you for a rewarding career in networking and cybersecurity.
The CompTIA Network+ certification exam will certify the successful candidate has the knowledge and skills required to:
- Establish network connectivity by deploying wiredand wireless devices.
- Explain the purpose of documentation and maintainnetwork documentation.
- Configure common network services.
- Explain basic data center, cloud, and virtual-networkingconcepts.
- Monitor network activity and troubleshoot performanceand availability issues.
- Implement network security hardening techniques.
- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
CompTIA Network+ is compliant with ISO 17024 standards and approved by the U.S. DoD to meet Directive 8140.03M requirements. Network+ also maps to the core objectives required for 4 NICE work roles.
The CompTIA Network+ certification is good for three years from the day of your exam. The CE program allows you to extend your certification in three-year intervals through activities and training that relate to the content of your certification.
