We’re looking for a highly skilled Marketing professional to help lead our marketing efforts and direct our team. Our ideal candidate will have marketing experience in the IT Training Industry. He/she will have the ability to lead and collaborate with the marketing team, business development professionals, and sales/account managers.

Candidates will be more successful if they have an understanding of current digital marketing strategies and want to deliver solutions that make a difference.

2. Objectives of this Role

  • Collaborate with the business development team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally
  • Collaborate with sales staff to gain customer insights and identify collaborate gaps
  • Work with product management team to maintain the accuracy and breadth of the Fast Lane training portfolio
  • Work closely with our professional services team to maintain our custom services catalog
  • Oversee and grow the marketing department, consistently identifying revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by securing new accounts
  • Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations
  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with internal teams and global marketing team as well as external vendors, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our products and services
  • Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including heatmapping, data tracking and analysis, results reporting, and recommendations
  • Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales
  • Hold regular meetings with the Marketing team to ensure accountability, resolve challenges, present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure team consistently performs above standard
  • Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Familiarity with HTML
  • CRM management
  • Adobe Suite proficiency
  • Understanding of e-marketing tools such as Pinpoint
  • Successful track record in marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with all aspects of digital marketing including:
    • Content marketing
    • Social media marketing
    • Email marketing
    • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
    • Pay-Per-Click (PPC)
  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
