Announcing New FlexPod Role-based Training

Fast Lane is now offering new Cisco and NetApp FlexPod role-based training. Systems Engineers, Field Engineers and Account Managers will be able to take courses in the classroom, online or through onsite training. The new training includes the categories of Design and Implementation and Administration.

The Design section features the new course: Designing the FlexPod Solution (FPDESIGN) and the new FlexPod Design Certification. The FlexPod Design Exam (500-170) will test candidate’s knowledge of FlexPod solutions and standards for evaluating computing solution performance specifications and components. Understanding of hardware parts associated with the FlexPod Solution and the method for choosing proper hardware for a provided set of conditions will also be tested on the exam. Compute, hardware components, configuration, high availability, SAN boot, Cisco UCS Manager, networking, virtualization, hypervisor solutions, and management and orchestration tools are all topics that are likely to be included on the exam.

The Implementation & Administration section features the course: Implementing and Administering the FlexPod Solution (FPIMPADM) and the certification is expected to be released in December of 2014.
