The main difference between traditional e-learning and ELT is that ELT includes hands-on experience by means of a directed demo, which walks you through a certain configuration or troubleshooting scenario by showing the network diagram, the command line interface of all devices, and all the configuration/troubleshooting steps required to complete the lab exercise.

This new format helps to reinforce the lecture content by showing specific commands required to complete the lesson tasks.
