Technical Manager

Fast Lane Consulting and Education Services, Inc. is looking for a Technical Manager in Morrisville, NC.

Responsible for Fast Lane's Cloud and Data Center Technical Strategy.
Defining the company's overall technical strategy.
Works directly with vendor partners and customers to design, build and deliver Cloud and Data Center training solutions.
Defines market opportunity and go-to market strategy, from an instructor and technical infrastructure perspective, and in conjunction with our VP WW Cisco Line of Business Manager to support the business.
Responsible for program support and technical guidance to business leadership.
Deliver Cisco Data Center Classes focused on Cisco UCS and Fiber Channel products.
Technical content development and training delivery; remote lab architecture and design.
Review project plans and coordinate project activity.
Manage backup, security and user help systems.
Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
Networking and security knowledge.
Use of Storage knowledge, NetApp or relevant storage technologies.

Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or as an Instructor/related position using Cloud/Data Center technologies.
Must have experience with Cloud and Data Center Technologies, specifically Catalyst 6500s, Nexus 9000, Nexus 7000, Nexus 5000, Nexus 1000V, Cisco UCS, UCS Director, Cloud Connect Platforms, VMware Products.
In the alternative will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or or as an Instructor/related position using Cloud/Data Center technologies.
Must have experience with Cloud and Data Center Technologies, specifically Catalyst 6500s, Nexus 9000, Nexus 7000, Nexus 5000, Nexus 1000V, Cisco UCS, UCS Director, Cloud Connect Platforms, VMware Products.
