Implementing Cisco Video Network Devices Bootcamp (CIVNDBC)

Course Content

This intense 5-day boot camp covers the essential video network concepts from the Cisco CCNA Collaboration CIVND1 and CIVND2 courses. You’ll get hands-on experience with a Cisco DX70 endpoint with updated software. CIVNDBC is an updated product course that provides much of the recommended training for those pursuing the CCNA Collaboration certification while also providing updated product information.

You will perform real world labs with “in class” equipment in order to ensure you can practice the lessons learned with real devices. You will learn to implement and troubleshoot Cisco Unified Communication, Collaboration and TelePresence endpoints in the different Cisco video solution architectures. CIVNDBC teaches you the characteristics of video and unified collaboration solutions. You will learn to assess the requirements for a successful implementation of a collaboration solution using the full line of Cisco products loaded with current software releases. This course describes the characteristics of a unified voice and video solution and enables you to evaluate the general requirements for video deployments such as coding options, media formats, protocols, network impact, high-level architectural components and their interactions and requisites to the environment.

You will develop the necessary knowledge and skills to implement various Cisco Video endpoints in converged Cisco video infrastructures, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server (VCS). This course describes Cisco video solutions and enables you to implement and troubleshoot Cisco Unified Communication and Collaboration and TelePresence endpoints in different Cisco business video solution architectures. Please Note: If you register for class less than one week prior to the start of class, you will only receive an electronic copy of the Student Guide. You will still however receive a printed copy of the Lab Guide.
