Jerome Henry

jerome henryJerome Henry is senior technical instructor at Fast Lane

Jerome has more than 10 years experience teaching technical Cisco courses in more than 15 different countries and 4 different languages, to audiences ranging from Bachelor degree students to networking professionals and Cisco internal system engineers.

Focusing on his wireless experience, Jerome joined Fast Lane in 2006. Before that time, he was consulting and teaching Heterogeneous Networks and Wireless Integration with the European Airespace team, which was later acquired by Cisco to become their main wireless solution.

He is certified wireless networking expert (CWNE #45), CCIE Wireless (#24750), CCNP Wireless, developed several Cisco courses focusing on wireless topics (IUWNE, IUWMS, IUWVN, LBS, CWMN lab guide, etc.) and authored several Wireless books (IUWMS, CUWSS Quick Reference, etc.). With more than 15 IT industry certifications (from Linux Red Hat Certified Engineer to Microsoft Certified System Engineer and Security Specialist) and more than 5000 hours in the classroom, Jerome was awarded the IT Training Award best Instructor silver medal in 2009. He is based in Cary, NC.

Tia Williams

Tia is a former NetApp Technical Support Engineer and has over 12 years of IT experience working with various technologies including NetApp, VMware, Linux, Windows and Cisco.

Tia is one of the course developers of the Implementing Secure Multi-Tenancy course recently introduced by Fast Lane. This course provides attendees with insight into creating a secure multi-tenant environment featuring Cisco UCS, NetApp MultiStore and VMware vSphere 4.

Patrick von Schlag

 Patrick von Schlag Patrick von Schlag is dedicated to developing learning solutions for ITIL. He founded the world’s first dedicated IT Learning Consultancy with 1,500 leading SMEs in a number of key IT/business management disciplines. He brings more than 20 years’ experience in IT program development to Fast Lane.

Patrick is President of Deep Creek Center, an IT Service Management consulting and training organization based in Maryland, which specializes in practical programs to help organizations get their ITIL adoption programs back on track. He also develops and delivers learning solutions, including for ITIL, business analysis, project management, application development, and IT service management.


Dr. Gary J. Evans

 Dr. Gary J. EvansDr. Evans is owner and president of CVR/IT Consulting, LLC. As a consultant in all aspects of project management, he has worked with many diverse organizations to build Project Management Offices, plan Project Portfolio Management and deliver complex and challenging projects. Dr. Evans is an effective and highly successful instructor in advanced Project Management topics. He has trained hundreds of students in both fundamental and advanced project management topics through delivery of courses and workshops. His unique take on the central importance of Business Value, human factors and implementation of best practice in project management influences his entire curriculum, which takes students far beyond standard Project Management instruction.

Dr. Evans has held senior positions in several organizations, including VP of IT (Common), Program Manager (Rational Software), Director (Saber Consulting) and others. He has a B.S. in Biology (Providence College), a M.A. in Psychology (Bryn Mawr College), a PhD in Pharmacology (University of Pennsylvania) and performed postdoctoral work at Duke University. Dr. Evans earned his PMP certification in 2002 and was a member of the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) for two years. He has presented numerous seminars and workshops at PMI events, most recently as the keynote speaker at the Palmetto Chapter Symposium in 2010.
