You will also have access to the Fast Lane Community Site where you will find CCIE Discussion Forums. You will be able to post questions and reply to questions from other peers seeking the same goal, CCIE. Our forums are monitored by Fast Lane SMEs located all over the world who will contribute their valuable insight on many of the discussions you will access in this package.

Also as part of this package, you will have a mentor to assist you with any lab issues you encounter. Your mentor will assist you in planning how to attack the labs, where you can save time, and various strategies in preparing for the CCIE Voice Practical Lab.

This workbook package is designed for Cisco 360 Learning Program for CCIE Voice students who have mastered the configuration tasks that are associated with the core Cisco CCIE Voice topics. These topics include:

• call routing based on a traditional or line/device approach and dial peers
• endpoint configuration and registration
• basic Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express configuration
• gateway configuration
• basic high-availability configuration
• QoS
• basic Cisco Unity Connection and Cisco Unity Express configuration

The simulated CCIE Voice Practice Labs in the workbook should be used only after a Cisco 360 Learning Program for CCIE Voice student has completed all the videos on demand (VoDs) and technology-focused, hands-on labs from these self-paced lessons or has mastered all the tasks that are associated with the core CCIE Voice topics.

Upon completion of all the labs in this workbook, students should be able to:

• read through a full-length Cisco CCIE lab and identify the tasks that they can easily perform
• list and prioritize any remaining tasks and perform them in the order that they choose
• develop well-defined sets of rigorous verification methods of specific and interrelated technologies

The Cisco 360 Learning Program for CCIE® Voice Guided Workbook Package comprises eight full-length Cisco CCIE scenarios that each take approximately 8 to 10 hours to perform. Additionally, there are 17 technology-focused labs, each typically between 4 and 6 hours long. A key element of the Cisco 360 Learning Program for CCIE Voice is to present students with extensive hands-on practice with CCIE lab scenarios. If a student spends 4 to 10 hours performing each of the 25 labs in this workbook, the process will take between 130 and 180 hours of hands-on practice time. Each of the 25 scenarios includes a detailed answer key. The answer keys are, on average, more than 40 pages long and contain several diagrams. This Practice Lab Workbook is a self-paced learning product. You will have 12 months to complete the 25 practice labs.
