Marketing Coordinator
WHO WE ARE: Fast Lane Consulting and Education Services, Inc. is a privately held IT Training Company located in Morrisville, North Carolina. Fast Lane is part of a world-wide company and offers a broad array of advanced hands-on vendor-authorized IT training classes including Cisco Systems, NetApp, VMware as well as vendor-neutral courses developed in house.
Fast Lane US is a rapidly growing company that is looking for a full-time entry-level individual to join the marketing department. You must be able to work on your own, but also as a team to help support the emerging marketing efforts of the company.
As a Marketing Coordinator, your key responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
- Content creation and maintenance
- Enter new Course Descriptions/Outlines and/or update existing Course Descriptions/Outlines in Enterprise Manager (EMAN)
- Review existing marketing copy on all websites for clarity, grammar, effectiveness, accuracy, etc. and update as appropriate
- Review all collateral and update as appropriate
- Update social media sites as appropriate based on direction of manager
- Perform competitive analysis
- On-going documentation of competitor’s offerings, pricing, promotions, vendor partners, etc
- Analyze competitors use of Google AdWords
- Provide timely updates to Marketing/Sales
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market
- Brochure/Catalogue design and creation
- Website messaging, positioning and content, utilizing the tools our EMAN system
- Presentations and sales collateral
- Community Site content
- Newsletter content creation
- Email messaging content design and creation – HTML knowledge required
- Demand generation – develop the strategy with the marketing team and design and create the marketing programs that drive demand for our products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in business or marketing
- Very strong writing skills are required
- Good working knowledge of HTML is required
- Must be a role your sleeves up self-starter, highly organized and able to work well with employees at all levels in the organization
- Experience with video creation is a plus
- Experience with creating graphics and graphic design a plus
- Experience with social media (Twitter, FaceBook, LinkedIn, Yelp) a plus
