Customer Service Representative

Fast Lane Consulting and Education Services, Inc. is a leading Global IT Training Company with its North America headquarters located in Morrisville, North Carolina. Fast Lane offers a broad array of hands-on vendor-authorized IT training classes including Cisco Systems, NetApp, Ironport, IBM, Ubuntu, and VMware, as well as vendor neutral courses developed in house.

SUMMARY – Fast Lane is looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative is the first point of contact for our customers and partners. This Individual will be responsible for answering incoming calls, entering and processing student registrations, account research, and other related duties.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Answering incoming calls
  • Administration of Learning Management System
  • Processing of all Enrollments from web site, phone calls, sales people, etc.
  • Coordinating communications with students to include course confirmations as well as managing payment terms with students
  • Communication with the Enterprise Sales Team on a day to day basis
  • Notifying students of changes to classes
  • Creation of enrollment reports for management
  • Providing backup support for other team members as needed

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service role
  • Experience with MS Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Multitasking, Strong Communication, organizational, verbal and written skills are a must
  • Bachelor degree preferred, but not required
