Prerequisites
The candidate should have a foundational knowledge of basic networking concepts and experience with the Windows 2008 R2 operating system. Additionally, a foundational knowledge of protocols used with Exchange including SMTP and security background will prepare students for this intense 5 day course.
Course Objectives
In this course we teach you how to install Exchange 2010. Next, students configure mailboxes – identifying different mailbox server roles. Other administrative responsibilities of managing recipient objects, client access and message transports are covered in-depth.
Advanced topics include configuring a complete 2 Node Windows Server 2008 R2 Cluster environment to support the high availability of the Exchange service. Additionally, learn the latest tools and technologies to protect your users from unwanted spam messages and further securing the SMTP services.
