Channel Partner Field Engineers seeking to be trained up and certified on the “Web Security for Field Engineers” exam (#650-568).

Certifications

Recent changes to the Cisco Advanced Security Specialization for Channel Partners includes training and certification relevant to Cisco’s Web Security Portfolio. Among other requirements, Field Engineers must now take and pass the Web Security for Field Engineers Certification Exam (#650-568). Our 2 day training course is essential for certification success, and truly prepares Field Engineers for the complexities of supporting the design and implementation of WSAs.

Prerequisites

Attendees should possess the following background knowledge and skills:

  • Basic knowledge of IP networking
  • High level understanding of web proxy servers
  • High level understanding of web security concepts and technologies

In addition, some exposure to the Cisco ASA firewall is useful, but not essential.

Course Content

This comprehensive training course covers how to install, configure, operate and maintain the Cisco IronPort WSA Web Security Appliances or WSA. The course also covers how to configure and deploy the Cisco ScanSafe Web Security solution. The course consists of presentations and hands-on labs. The course is designed to be delivered over two full days or four half days.
