Course Content

This is an instructor led four day intensive course on how to design and implement a wireless network using HP A-Series products. This course will take you through all aspects of rolling out a wireless network, from the initial site inspection to implementation.

Who should attend

This class is for senior network administrators and technicians specializing in enterprise wireless deployments.

Prerequisites

Students must complete the following prerequisite courses before attending HP Enterprise Wireless Networks:

  • HP Wireless LAN Technologies (WBT)
  • Implementing A-Series Wireless LANs (ILT)
  • Introducing HP Intelligent Management Center (IMC)

Course Objectives

After attending this course, you will be able to translate business requirements into wireless network architectures and solutions. You will be able to assess customer needs and the impact on wireless network designs, perform a site survey, design an RF network deployment that meets the customer’s needs for security, QoS, roaming and high availability. You will also be able to use IMC to centrally manage a wireless network and to implement guest access policies. The course also covers the key aspects of optimizing an 802.11n deployment.
