Moving away from traditional networks to ones that embrace the concept of secure mobility requires an architectural shift. Cisco's Borderless Network architecture answers to the widest range of challenges and needs facing corporations today. This course challenges sales professionals and SEs to provide their customers with a path into the future that embraces the competitive edge provided by a Borderless Network architecture.

Course Content

This instructor-led course is aimed at everybody who is starting to build their Borderless Networking sales skills. The learning event is designed to provide students with the knowledge and confidence to add an architectural approach when positioning the Cisco Borderless Networking range of solutions including Mobility, Security, Green, Video, and Application Acceleration. This is achieved through a mixture of theory and class exercises and will provide the student with a solid understanding of how Borderless Networks are built and how they are serving as the foundation for other architectures like Collaboration and Virtualization.

Who should attend

This course is intended for Cisco Channel Partner Pre-Sales Engineers and Account Managers looking to help customers transform their business by implementing a roadmap towards a Borderless Network Architecture

Prerequisites

Attendees should have a CSE (Cisco Sales Expert) v5 Certification or the equivalent in experience and knowledge

Course Objectives

By the end of the class, students will be able to:

  • Explain the vision of Borderless Networks - delivering connectivity to anyone, anything, anywhere, anytime -- and doing so securely, reliably, and seamlessly.
  • Explain the main components of the Borderless Networks Architecture.
  • Explain how Borderless Networks is in the process of causing significant market transitions.
  • Understand and explain how the Borderless Networks architecture serves as the foundation for Cisco’s architectural framework thus enabling other architectures like Collaboration and Virtualization.
  • Correctly position Cisco's range of Borderless Networks solution modules within the customer’s architecture
  • Apply a multi-layer sales strategy by discussing how transform an existing network infrastructure inta real borderless experience
