Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Deployment and Systems Management (RHCOE-DEPLOYMENT-SYSTEMS-MGMT)

A Red Hat® Certified Engineer (RHCE®) who has earned the Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Deployment and Systems Management has demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to manage large installations of Red Hat Enterprise Linux® systems using Red Hat Satellite and related technologies.

Certification requirements
An RHCE who has earned the Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Deployment and Systems Management is capable of:
  • Installing and administering Red Hat Satellite.
  • Building custom Red Hat Package Manager (RPM) packages.
  • Using subversion for version control.
  • Creating organizations, users, and role in Red Hat Satellite.
  • Managing software channels and errata.
  • Deploying configuration files with Red Hat Satellite.
  • Provisioning with pre-boot execution environment (PXE).

The following audiences may be interested in earning the Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Deployment and Systems Management:
  • RHCEs responsible for managing large enterprise environments
  • RHCEs interested in pursuing Red Hat Certified Datacenter Specialist or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA)
